| Have you ever thought
that your walk with Christ has been the same for so long you
do not think you are changing? Ever think you are the same?
God is making each person who is a believer into the image
of Christ. The day we will be complete will be the day Jesus
returns to earth. Until then we can believe and know that
God is NOT finished with us.
We might want to give up at times with ourselves. We know
how we fall, we know we fail, we think we should just give
up. What a wonderful thing to KNOW that God does NOT give
up on us like we want to! God is working on us every day.
He uses the littlest things in our lives to make us more like
Jesus.
We may feel guilty for at times falling away from God or
even just trying to do things our own way. However we do know
that God does work things out for the good. As we seek Gods
will, He works out the things that seem like they can't turn
out for good.
The enemy, Satan, knows how easy it is for us to get upset
over feeling guilty, past sins or even our walks with Christ.
He is the one who brings to mind those things you do not need
to think about. He can't hurt us, God is still working.
The world may look to be falling apart. You may feel like
you are stuck in the same spot. Your prayers may be bouncing
off the ceiling, or you may feel God has left you. Our faith
is not on feelings but on God. We walk by faith, not by sight.
God is still working.
So as you have your quiet time with God today never forget
you are NOT finished yet! God is still working on you. So
through all of this have patience with yourself. God is working,
you do not need to figure anything out for yourself.
