From Home...A Poem To God
Here I am far from home again
Longing to be in your arms again.
I've been gone quite a while
I miss seeing your fatherly smile.
I didn't mean to go astray
Now here I am trying to find my way.
I know you were praying that I would stay
But it was just another game I got picked to play.
I was too blind to see
Just what It would do to me.
It was fun at first
But now I feel like I'm gonna burst.
I can still hear you call
But all I can do is crawl.
I know I will be with you again one day...
Then and only then will the hurt go away!!
