Visitation Information

For those of you who would like to visit Andrew and/or the Nelson Family, we hope the following information will help.

Andrew has been through Bone Marrow Transplant and one result is that his immune system will be compromised for about one year. It will gradually return, but he will not have resistance to the "bugs" that are going around.

Though we really appreciate the thought, we ask that you do not visit us expecting to see Andrew. The biggest risk he has in his treatment is the chance of infection with his severely depleted immune system and we prefer not to take any risks by exposing him to people outside the family. As he improves this will be less and less an issue.

We are sorry to have to ask you to refrain from 'dropping by,' but if you have need to visit us, please call us ahead of time so we can prepare.
